Boys Basketball 2008-2009 Season
With a total of 13 games played with only 3 losses the boys basketball team seem to be going far this season. Just as the girls are a family the boys are as well. They live and breathe basketball always going into the game striving to win. Sometimes it looks as if it isn't to win but to play their hardest. "I think the basketballs teams hard work and inspiration comes from our attitude to strive for greatness" says captain and senior forward Valentine. The team shows great determination this year to win. With noticeable improvement since last season. They seem to want the best in order to be called the best. "we don't settle for less so I think that mind set helps push us in the right direction" says Valentine. The way the teams looking it looks as if they're heading for the finals. "The key for us to accomplish are goals this year is perseverance and good defense . . . and with good defense it'll help are offense. With that we'll be hard 2 defeat because will be clicking on all cylinders it starts with tenacious" says forward Ike. Their confidence and stride for victory seems to be the key anecdote.-Sabrina Donald
